Despite not having much for description, I'm very pulled into this picture. You followed the show, don't tell philosophy and it's done you a favor. You used the key words in a smooth way and executed the picture with atmosphere in an almost breath taking fashion. (I'd suggest high contrast between the shadows and light). My complaint is that I've seen many pictures of giant serpents diving in and out of sand. But that's a small scratch in and otherwise grade A piece.
